Ocean NIC Logistics Sdn Bhd was formed initially by a group of young, experienced & dedicated professionals in Logistics from various logistics backgrounds in the year of 2014. The name “NIC” represents there core values that we strongly believe in each time we are delivering the best experience to our customer: Necessitate + Integration + Capacious.
Over the years, Ocean NIC has been specializing mainly for freighting to any parts of the world, which includes all parts of Asia, East Malaysia, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, USA and Europe.
We are also specializing in a variety of freight forwarding services such as Triangular Trade, Door Delivery, Rail services, Cross Border Trucking, Multi-Modal, Container Haulage arrangements & Custom Clearance services, Marine Insurance. Besides the above, we are also positioning ourselves in Lesser than Container Load (LCL), which provides loose cargoes export and import services for cargoes that are not up to 1 container load.

LOGISTICS / SUPPLY CHAIN
The general definition of “Logistics” will be the transferring of the goods (in any form or forms) from its ORIGIN to the DESTINATION (Usage) to meet the requirement of the customer. Logistics and Supply Chain are complementing each other, and Logistics is fundamentally running outside the scope of Supply Chain Management to support the Chain.

Delivering goods via Sea is the most cost-effective method and the most adopted way for many shippers and consignees. Over the years, Sea Transportation has been developed to the extent that it is speedier, more economical, as is suitable for heavy cargoes, bulk in size. We are in the position to negotiate more suitable, idealistic schedules for the customers in the balancing process for Delivery urgency, Transit Time, Volume, Equipment/space availability &, of course, cost-concerned factors that are crucial in today’s ever-challenging business environment.
AIRFREIGHT
Air Freight serves as an essential transport alternative in terms of the speed in particularly for shipments that are extremely urgently required by the consignee production or marketing. In Ocean NIC, we have a team that is dedicated to securing the best offer for the customer.
LAND TRANSPORTATION
Ocean NIC has a system integrating the transport services and can offer different cargo transportation requirements to our customers. We have services available for both Haulage (Container) & Lorry (Loose Cargoes). Our team of lorry transportation routes covers the whole nation. Besides, we are also providing land transportation services to other countries (Cross-Border) in particular for Thailand. Cargo unloading and mover services are available as well.
